This is our favourite week in Sydney's food calendar: Good Food Month launch week!
We are thrilled to announce our first two events as part of the City of Sydney's Village Food Adventures programme.
Llankelly Laneway Dining Walk
Showcasing the diverse range of cultures, cooking styles and the high standard of service Potts Point / Kings Cross for which is becoming known. We are offering two simultaneous walks of the laneway: Asian & European flavours. Twenty guests - ten tickets per walk - will enjoy the company and knowledge of a local guide whilst dining on the signature dish of each restaurant pared with matching wine.
Dine like a Potts Point princess in modern dining rooms or hole-in-the-wall cafes in a precinct that is constantly changing gear. Promenade down a laneway lined with Malaysian, Korean, Mod Oz and Americano influenced restaurants bursting with loyal locals on a nightly basis. Devour the food of emerging and respected chefs. Potts Point is an area that has been entertaining the bohemians and the jet set alike, from the 1940s to present day.

Pyrmont Progressive Dining Walk
As the former working port of Sydney Harbour with a multitude of wharves, shipbuilding yards, factories and wool store’s this waterfront suburb has had many different lives. The restaurant and bar population has also grown over the last 25 years and now proudly features a diverse food offering from France, Italy and Persia to contemporary seafood eating houses.
First off we meet for a pre-walk drink in the sandstone front bar, under the lovely old photograph of Grandma Lietl – beloved relative of Gallon’s co-owner Julian – as she stands proudly among the salamis in her 1940’s Melbourne Deli. Good hospitality clearly runs strong in this family!
